The Cancer Research UK Convergence Science Centre is a partnership between Cancer Research UK, The Institute of Cancer Research, London, Imperial College London, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust


The CRUK Convergence Science Centre is a Centre of Excellence within Imperial with the purpose of helping to create a critical mass of researchers who transcend Faculty boundaries. This framework is part of a multi-faculty initiatives that support multidisciplinary research, and is championed by Imperial College London Vice-Provost for Research and Enterprise, Professor Mary Ryan. Since 2022, the Centre has merged with the CRUK Imperial Centre and the CRUK ICR Centre, giving rise to renewed CRUK Convergence Science Centre. Our mission remains to accelerate the development of ground-breaking cancer technologies across our partnering institutions. The CRUK Convergence Science Centre will spearhead pioneering research, with a strong emphasis on implementation and clinical adoption. Our collective efforts aim to translate discoveries into tangible benefits for patients and healthcare providers.
