This workshop aims to bring together different perspectives from experts in Immunology, Microbiology and Cancer Biology (and mixtures thereof!). It will explore what lessons we can draw from host responses to a range of microbes as well as tumour-intrinsic innate signalling and delve into use of microbial therapies in other clinical settings.

Sessions will include:

  • Tissue-specific immunity to viral, fungal and parasitic infections and translation into cancer
  • Microbial induced cell death and senescence
  • Microbial therapies in gut inflammation and infection
  • The role of tumour intrinsic innate immunity

There will be several short talk opportunities available and invite abstract submissions, particularly from ECR’s, to contribute to the exciting line up of speakers. Deadline for abstract submissions is Friday, 26th September.

Further information can be found on the event website.

Register by Friday, 10th October 2025.
