The Great Exhibition Road Festival is a free event for all ages. We have a stand at this year's event in the Future Medicine Zone - come say hello!

The Great Exhibition Road Festival is annual event celebrating science and arts with over 50,000 visitors attending over the weekend. 

 

This year, the CRUK Convergence Science Centre has a stand in the Future Medicine Zone. The theme for the stand is about highlighting how technology can improve overall cancer care, making it better, kinder and empowering patients along their treatment journey. It’s also an opportunity to showcase how research can be patient centred. We hope to spark conversations with the public about: 

• The importance of patient centred research: not all research is about finding a cure but sometimes improving existing care and taking a more patient centred approach 

• Understanding what ‘kinder’ care looks like to different people and how they may want to seek support whilst going through a potential cancer treatment journey
